AirMed is one of Australia’s most experienced providers of aeromedical patient transfer services. Operating a modern fleet of jet and twin-engine aircraft, AirMed has been trusted by NSW Health and healthcare providers for more than 20 years.
AirMed delivers both domestic and international patient transfers, including specialist transport for paediatric, neonatal and mental health patients.
Ground Transfers
GroundMed operates a fleet of 30 patient transport vehicles across NSW, delivering safe, reliable and professional non-emergency patient transport services.
GroundMed provides both standalone ground patient transfers and integrated support for AirMed’s aeromedical operations, ensuring seamless bed-to-bed patient care.
Our fleet is GPS equipped to maintain the highest standards of safety and service delivery.

For non-emergency patient transfers, AirMed offers a fully in-house medical capability with a highly qualified team of flight nurses who specialise in aeromedical care and patient monitoring throughout the journey. For critical or emergency medivac missions, AirMed can partner with specialist external critical care providers to deliver advanced medical support tailored to the needs of each patient. This flexible approach allows AirMed to respond to a wide range of medical transport requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, clinical care and operational reliability.

AirMed & GroundMed are part of the Aviation Logistics Group - one of Australia's largest general aviation operators with a fleet of more than 60 aircraft operating from nine bases across the East Coast of Australia and the Northern Territory.
The group employs a team of almost 230 professionals based in Melbourne (Essendon), Sydney (Bankstown), Dubbo, Brisbane (Archerfield), Cairns, Weipa, Alice Springs, Katherine and Darwin.
Aviation Logistics Group is well equipped to provide patient care, aircraft and aviation related solutions to government, industry, insurance companies and private clients covering schedule passenger and freight flights, aircraft charter services and aeromedical/medivac patient transfer operations.
